The Hudson Chamber was founded in 1969 (previously established in 1952 as the Hudson Board of Trade) and its direction and government is vested in a Board of Director’s that consists of 15 volunteers. In general, chambers of commerce are membership-based associations of employers and other business entities organized to meet the needs of their members and to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life in the markets they serve.

The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) is a non-profit trade association that promotes the professionalism of the kitchen and bath industry. Established in 1963 as a network of kitchen dealers, it has grown into the premier association of distributors, retailers, remodelers, manufacturers, fabricators, installers, designers, and other professionals. The NKBA’s certification program emphasizes continuing education and career development and includes designers and professionals in all segments of the kitchen and bath industry. The NKBA has become a valuable resource for both professionals and consumers.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) offers free reports on businesses that include background, licensing, consumer experience and other information such as governmental actions that is known to the BBB. If a business has been accredited by the BBB, it means the BBB has determined that the business meets accreditation standards which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.
